After a rotten weekend
I took a walk alone
first I saw Comet and Quinn
And marveled how they have grown
The I spied Miss Callie, basking in the sun
in her special hiding spot
I didn't spoil her fun
down to check the calving pen
they are growing strong and tall
I also found this feathered guy
strutting and sounding a call
then I heard a tapping , high up in a tree
and I saw this little friend
but he did not see me
Now that my walk is done
I feel a little smile
I guess the best cure for me
is to walk a little while
Stay safe
Look at the cute butts on those two blonde boys!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful - pictures and words!! Aah my friend, but you do have a gift with the rhymes...so sorry to hear of a bad weekend. :(
ReplyDeleteBut, who could remain sad when surrounded by such blessings!? Smile sweet lady!
Sometimes that's all it takes, even if I don't have cute critters to look at, it helps.
ReplyDeleteSeems my funk as spread and for that I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteKeep walking and writing and it will get better - I promise.
