Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

Boundaries

I am dedicating this page to a series ,I have started , and challenged a few other bloggers to join.  I got thinking about how we can get hurt working with animals and what skills we have learned to prevent such injuries . As each new post comes out I will try to link it here so we have a place to gather them all. Thank you to all the bloggers who chose to participate in this by posting or adding input in the comments .
as always Stay safe everyone !
