welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta in prime farm country my husband Martin, and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses . Fern Valley Appaloosas have long been known for their quality f conformation , temperament and color. I have recently published book of poetry and photos , Telling Tails , and am looking forward to spreading my wings further as an author and photographer . As well as to continue with these beautiful horses.

Boundaries

I am dedicating this page to a series ,I have started , and challenged a few other bloggers to join.  I got thinking about how we can get hurt working with animals and what skills we have learned to prevent such injuries . As each new post comes out I will try to link it here so we have a place to gather them all. Thank you to all the bloggers who chose to participate in this by posting or adding input in the comments .
as always Stay safe everyone !
