Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

They are soooo cute!!! A couple years ago we were overrun with cats, kittens, you name it! Now, we're down to 2. Patch and Snip. I'm not sure I even want to know what happens to our cats here in the country...sad, I miss them. Especially my lovely little Dutchie and our old man, Albert. *sigh* Life goes on, right? Have a wonderful weekend Sherry.

Geez-That first picture is awesome. Grey really does blend in with that tree.

The rest of it is just fuzzy adorableness!

Poor Diesel. It's hard to act tough and dignified when the fuzzy little monsters totally ignore his domination.

I wish my son were not allergic to cats, I would LOVE to surprise my daughter with one. She has always LOVED kitties.
I sent her to your blog to see the photos.

Very cute!! I'll never understand why cats have such a bad rap. Such misunderstood furballs.

That is a GREAT picture story! I loved it. No matter how many cats roam here, they are still cute to me.
