Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

Saturday sillies

Another beautiful warm day, seems the critters are feeling a little spring in their step
and acting a little silly

 Feeling good!

Because Phoenix gets bored and ruins my  tank cleaning mop every time he can get his teeth on one , I bought him a rope toy to see if it would occupy him.

It seems to be working

Then there is , the ever lovable , Johnny!
 Who are you calling chubby???

Stay safe and warm everyone!

Awesome photos and cute video . Our dog Miggy has a rope like that and she loves to shake the heck out of it lol ! We here in Ontario have no snow and it already looks and feels like spring even the buds on the trees are starting already and my Daffodils are poping above ground. Have a good day !

Beautiful pics of beautiful boys!
I love that oh so scrawny tail, compared to the just slightly stouter belly:)
Thanks, Fern, your pics always make my day:)

Boy it doesn't seem like y'all have much snow there. We haven't really had any. a few spits here and there, but that's about it. Hopefully I don't jinx us but it would also be helpful.
