Welcome to Fern Valley
Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

What a cutie ! Have a very Merry Christmas ! It will be a green Christmas for us here in Ontario !
Hear that weird sound? It was my heart melting.
:)
What a sweet guy.
Hope you have a beautiful holiday and that everyone around you is at least as friendly if not as cute as Winston.
Awwww!
Flip is cheering!!
Winston is totally calendar ready!
I love pictures with animals holding up signs. We keep meaning to create signs for our photo shoots. We made some, but then kept forgetting to use them.
Nuzz Muzz, I wish I could say we posed that , he was wandering around with it and just before I reminded him it wasn't a toy for him I realised the photo op!
How can anyone resist that face???
This would be the perfect Christmas card that's for sure.
I'm telling ya, there just isn't anything cuter than a Golden's face!! They melt your heart for sure!! And yes, I think there should definitely be a Winston/doggie calendar in the works!! For sure!! I still regret having not kept Jasper, the golden we adopted almost 2 years ago...big mistake. I just read your earlier blog post too about your grandpa's journal. What a treasure to have his journals!! Other than having him in person, there could be no greater gift! Just wonderful!! I have always loved that old hymn too. Beautiful, beautiful words! I love so many of the old Christmas hymns...my most favorite part of Christmas! Merry Christmas my dear, sweet friend. I surely hope to sit down with you one day and share a cuppa something and some time...xx fingers crossed
Pics from photo ops are much sweeter than posed, I think. Of course, I'm talking as the queen of MISSED ops here. LOL
How much damage did Winston do to that cute little snowman??
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!!
aww that is soo cute!!! I love the wrinkles on his nose, just makes me want to pet them :)
Well that is just tooo cute. I say take those ops when they present. Sherry I hope you Martin and the rest of your family have a wonderful day and every day. I am looking forward to more great pics and poems from you in the New Year...have a marvelous Christmas.

Thanks all , and Merry Christmas
and he did not damage the snowman at all ,He is a truly soft mouthed dog , and if it were not for Skketer/Shredder , all of his "dollies" would be intact
