Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

My week described in pictures(not my pictures ) But pictures al the same

Some weeks are just really looonnnggg

it is still very icy

we have had a few days where , sitting down with a bottle sounds about right

Still haven't made it to the pool , maybe next week

Yup, that pretty much wraps it up.It has been one long week. The traction on my shoes , makes a huge difference , I notice my back actually hurts less , since I am not pussy footing around  out there (who knew) Lots going on theses days. Hopefully I will get a horsie update going  soon , meanwhile thay are all doing  more or less OK, staying on thier feet .Quinn is  healing form the gouge he took out of his butt in the "safe pen" sigh . What is the line ?"if you put them in a padded stall they would suffocated on the lining?"
Anyhow , stay warm stay safe

It's been scientifically proven that pussy-footing is only designed for paws, it destroys all normal human alignments. Cats are the master race, after all. LOL!
sorry, I had an image of you with 7 furry toes on each foot. That might work as well, just add some claws, you're good!
Good to hear crazy Quinn hasn't lost anymore tissue. He needs his butt for jumping, silly colt..
Be careful, stay safe and warm!
