Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

That last pic of Winston is soo cute, but 9 is a little cold to go swimming for me, specially if there is still snow on the ground. The boys look happy to be out too :)

Great pics - the boys are probably beyond happy to be out running around!

Cute cat pic as well...I'm a sucker for orange cats. :-)

My lab would swim whenever he saw open water - temperature didn't matter! Winston is so cute!

Photos are as eloquent as words, and this post has a whole lot of happy. Except the cat, but I guess he's happy to have fence to promenade on instead of having to get his toes muddy. Have a wonderful day!

Nothing makes a dog happier than a good swim and a nap. He looks totally satisfied.

Too cute, lovely photos of special animals!! Did you get my email about the book? For some reason it was returned....I noticed your email was .ca not .com....is that a typo? I sent an email to both. Let me know! ;-)

They're Appys, not pintos...but those first three photos remind me of Bev Dolittle paintings. Gorgeous!!! Loved 'em..thank you!
