Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

That's about what Betsy looked like, bolting through the driveway gates and down the road, heading over to the neighbors to visit their cows. Only she had her tail up and was bawling the whole way! I was ROFL! when going to get her, but not so much after that.

Calves are so cute. I'm sorry you had a crappy week -end but it sounds like the walk did you good. It made me feel better too:)I can't believe those two handsome fellas haven't been scooped up yet...I'm glad I have to many horses now or I would have to come a call'n...of course that would be a lot of fun.....maybe I should get rid of what I've got and try a new brand!!!!!
