Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

Hey Sherry just catching up with you.Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas, and I'm hoping you have a wonderful New Year.Well you did it to me with your story about the lady traveller....yes I cried a bit however it just proves to me what a truly special person you are.....not that I've ever had any doubt about that.I hope to see you in 2014....wouldn't that be nice...how about the horse holiday we have been talking about????? Well my friend I have to run. Stay warm and safe out there....we are not having nearly as a bad a winter.....hope I haven't jinxed it.
