Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

He is home

I only posted this last night , as a healing and to let folks know about Winston. At 9 am I heard a bark at the door and 3 days after he went missing  he arrived! unscathed, not hurt, hungry or particularly cold. JUST HOME
Prayers are answered!

Oh Sherry, I am so sorry...not knowing is terribly unsettling. Wish I could help. I do hope he returns, or you find him, but if not that the lovable fluff ball is in peace *hugs*

Well, thank Heavens! How old is Winston anyway, seems like I've been reading about him for a long time. My sweet dog is 14.
