I needed some new photos for a special project so I went out this weekend to see what I could get. I Got some good ones but as usual there are "out takes lol
I also recieved a little update on Maks !
"Thought you might appreciate this pic from Stampede. Maks spent the day as the Appaloosa in Horse Haven. We had some trouble loading him (my fault not his - not enough practice beforehand) and he balked at walking in the barn due to the bright sunshine/dark shade and then balked again at walking in the booth but he overcame it all and he was as awesome as I figured he would be! He never turned his back on the crowds and even when he was trying to snooze, he kept his nose resting on the rails and didn't object when people petted him even when trying to sleep. "
What a good boy!
for those who don't remember him ,
and here is the pic she sent.
Sounds like he did us proud!
Thats it for now, stay safe my friends

It's always nice when you update. :)
Hope you're feeling pretty decent.
Oh that is great. :):) Hug B
Beautiful spots!! New project sounds like fun. How nice that you got an update on Maks!!
Even outtakes are good :)
You guys have had a dry year, but the ponies seem to have faired well. ;-). Good to see an update on Maks. He was one of my favorites!!
Who's the dun with the nice butt in the sixth picture down? Is he/she a solid Appy? Can Appys have dun stripes?
Do we get to know what the project is? Love the photo of Cat and Andee!
Maks is a yearling now isn't he? Sounds like he is a good minded boy.
Nuzz that is Andee a registered quarter horse mare I bought from Shirley of ride a good horse but yes Appys can have the dun markings (stripes ) also
Love those pics, even included some kities in there :) And cool to hear about Maks he sounds like hes doing great!
I had totally forgotten that Andee came from Shirley!
And in that pic of Maks... is he saddled?
Sure hope you're going to share that project with us :)
Oh, and your horses are looking quite good for a drought year. Mine are out in pasture 24/7 and maintaining a decent condition. Makes me happy that they're not puff-balls but at the same time sad because my pasture is obviously not as lush as it usually is.
