Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

No drama with Reina!

She is here! "The Drama Queen"  and so far so good, she hauled beautifully and after a few "getting to know you " moments she seems to have settled in nicely with Casey .

She looks like she will fit in fine!

The Phoenix, thinks she is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I haven't told him yet I think we are breeding her to Cactus this year. Or maybe...
Anyhow got some catching up to do on blogs so ,stay safe friends.

She sure does fit in, even in style and colour. Are you sure Phoenix can't have her? He sure thinks he's da man for her!

Cactus was watching but he didn't have the birds eye view lol. The thing is ,I know what we will get from a Cactus cross on this mare, and it is a pretty awesome and sale able product,I just have to decide if I want to see what Phoenix can do, I am pretty sure it will be good news too
