Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

A Dandy update

Dandy is doing very well, Breanna shared a few more pics with me today .
Saw this and thought  two things,
 1) so proud of my boy! he is a wonderful testament to the kind of horses I raise
2) wish this gal lived closer , I could use someone as  good as her to help get a few others going . That girl has the stuff!

How do you like him now? I think he is wonderful (kinda always did)
Stay warm and safe

How nice that she is staying in touch & sharing photos. They look like a great match, riding bareback and all.

That must make your heart feel so light that he is well cared for and loved.

Beautiful photos. New follower on both google friend connect and the new linky. Also noticed you have your url wrong on linky. You have localhost first and should not have. Most people are not going to find you. Would appreciate a follow back on both also. Have a nice weekend.

It's nice to be able to see how they make out when they go to new homes.Sometimes with the ones I really fell for, as long as I know they went to a good home I don't want to know anything else. He's sure looking good.
