The Golden boys of 2011
FV Quicken the Wind (Quinn) and FV A Shocking Comet (Comet )
We have watched them
grow
and present
Wonderful photo opportunities
And now
they are big boys
I have given them the best start I can .And they are off to their new lives and adventures!
Quinn, leaving tomorrow to live near the Alberta Rockies with a reiner ! Lucky boy ! I love the mountains!Maybe I will be able to see him from time to time if I head to Jasper . And Comet, headed east to Southern Saskatchewan, to be the best looking ranch horse that area has seen!!!
I wish them well, and their new folks also . I know they will enjoy these beautiful sweet good minded boys . Will I miss them? Yes , I always do , but knowing they have gone on to good lives and careers is worth it. Horses need jobs, and the really cool jobs, well they usually need horses so ...
Yup
gonna say it again
Here at Fern Valley
if
you have a job
we've got
an
App
for that!
Stay safe my friends !

That is so cool that they have new homes!! I will miss seeing these beautiful boys and hopefully we will get an update in the future! And you definitely have an App for that!!
Oh wow how sad and awesome all rolled into one thought. They are certainly two stunning boys and I'm sure you will have fun hearing about their adventures in their new homes ....all the best Quinn and Comet. Give them a cuddle and scratch from their NZ admirer
great pics of those two pretty boys! Good news to find them homes, but sad to see them go, I'm sure.
My pasture sure looks empty without a spotted/coloured horse out there! Very few nice apps around here. *sigh* Could you send me a nice quiet older one to decorate my pasture? :-)
I love it! An App for that... I'm sure each Appy will make the new owners happy. ;)
Oh will be sad not seeing them around anymore, but sounds like good homes for them both :)
Good job.........I might see the Comet somewhere down the road ;)
Congrats on the sales!
I bet the boys will do great!!
Where, oh where in southern sask?? I might catch a glimpse of him someday!!
Its always hard to see them leave, but if they are going to good homes and a good career, then its all worth it..................at least thats what I keep telling myself!!
Congrats!
Best wishes for your golden boys! What lucky new owners!! Hope you get an update (s) to share in the future. I love App's :)
Hey, that's great! Congrats, Fern!
Boys gotta do what boys gotta do.
Gorgeous boys, I'll miss them too.
Quinn most specially.
AFTER Johnny of course:)
Your lovely golden boys will be the apple of their owners eye- they are beautiful and just darn nice horses.
That's what we do, isn't it? Put good horses on the ground so someone will always have a good horse to ride.
Oh, such beautiful pictures of them, which makes wonderful memories permanent.
Oh they have certainly grown into fine and strong young "men"!! Good to know they'll be loved and used. Congratulations!
Good luck young ones !!!
Sounds like those two boys will be living the dream!
Very nice, thanks for the information.
