Welcome to Fern Valley

Here in central Alberta prime farm country,my husband Martin and I work together raising beef cattle and Appaloosa horses. Fern valley appaloosas have long been known for their quality of temperament conformation and color.I have recently rediscovered a love of writing and have published 2 collections of poetry. "Telling Tails" and Tails Trails and Campfire stories" . I look forward to a future spreading my wings as an author and as a horse woman .

As I looked up  at the  cows , that old  song "cows  with  guns " popped into my mind LOL

Thanks for the laughs. What is it with your breath -- ha ha ha ha! Scrappy is (hopefully) getting his last follow up appointment after his surgery, and amazingly his breath is soooooo much better after having all those rotten teeth removed.

I love the reusable mousetraps. I am going to need one or two of those in another month.

Love the pasture pic. Our herd would stuff themselves silly on grass like that.
